here are the nightgowns i made for the girls from an old sheet. nina's wasn't totally done in these pics--she got sleeves and a button for the back after these were taken. she'll get another button when i can find some more!
i know, we call it maggie's frontier girl nightgown. the girls call them their anastasia dresses (from the cartoon anastasia). maggie's in red with some braid trim would totally be renaissance. it's so fun to make clothes for them!!
Desiree is the chronically sleep-deprived, compensatorily over-caffeinated, word-fabricating mother of two sweet girls and two hairy dogs. With the empire waist and slight puff to the shoulders it looks like a little medieval or renaissance times dress.
